Sanction System

We’re committed to keeping our community safe, fair, and fun for everyone. That’s why we have an accountability system in place to help uphold the Fortis Code across all our games.

When players break the Fortis Code, we issue sanctions that match the type and severity of the behavior. In most situations, this starts with chat restrictions. Mutes increase in length for repeated violations (starting with 24-hour timeouts and in some cases leading to permanent chat bans for repeated or serious misuse). For the most serious violations, sanctions may be permanent.

For behavior outside of chat, such as cheating, we may take action such as removing items or benefits that have been unfairly gained, removing progress, achievements, or levels, rolling back accounts, and more. As with chat violations, we may also apply a chat mute or account ban depending on the circumstances. Cheating includes using unauthorized third-party tools, bots, macros, exploiting bugs, or otherwise gaining an unfair advantage.

Off-Platform Behavior

Sometimes, actions that happen outside of our platform can still directly impact players and the Fortis community.

When serious off-platform behavior creates harm within our games, we may take enforcement action. This can include account sanctions or bans in the most severe cases.

We approach these situations carefully and consider them on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to protect players and maintain a welcoming environment while handling enforcement in a fair and proportionate way.

All actions are taken in line with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Fortis Code. We’re committed to transparency throughout the process.

Appeals Process

If you believe a sanction was applied incorrectly, you have the right to appeal through the in-game support chat or by visiting our support page and following the appeal process instructions. We carefully review each appeal and commit to transparent communication throughout the process. You'll receive a clear explanation of our decision, regardless of the outcome.
