—UPDATED: Fernhollow 🗺️
Sorcerers have been hard at work to make some renovations to Fernhollow.
The Blight in Fernhollow evolves and becomes more mysterious. Within it hides new Wonders and Ruins to uncover, but to reach them, it will require more than simply strength…
- Clearing the Blight in Fernhollow and expanding your territory no longer relies solely on Wave completion.
- Unlocking additional land in Fernhollow now depends on the completion of a combination of combat (reach a certain Wave number and/or defeat the territory Boss) and/or non-combat (merge a certain number of a specific Tower type, have a certain number of Houses, etc.) requirements before new territory can be unlocked.

- Corrupted tiles are no longer present in the main Fernhollow base
- Mana and Blight merging is no longer available in the main Fernhollow base
- Corrupted tiles can still be merged onto or cleared with Mana in Seasonal Events and Campaigns
- Mana and Blight merging is no longer available in the main Fernhollow base
❓*”If I’m an existing player, will I see any changes to my base?”*
Short answer: Yes! If you have been a Lightkeeper since version 1.7 or earlier, your base will be upgraded to the new version and new Wonders and Ruins will appear. The progress you have already made will be converted to the upgraded Fernhollow base.
❓ “How will the conversion work?”
For existing players:
- The territory requirements of areas that have already been explored will automatically be marked as complete ✅
- Unlocked Territories will also unlock any corresponding Wonders in that space, placing any objects in those tiles into bubbles, so make sure you check those pesky bubbles 🫧
- Any grid elements that are obsolete will automatically be converted to currency
- Mana will no longer be needed to clear Blight and expand your territory. With the migration of obsolete grid elements and map layout, all corruption will be cleared and any existing mana will be automatically converted to Gold and Gems
— NEW: Wonders
Blight now contain various Wonders that can be uncovered when expanding territory.
Wonders are large, immovable structures that can provide various resources. Wonders do not have an energy cost to harvest.
The following Wonder types will be available:
- 🌳Tree Wonders: No Energy cost harvestable that produces Seeds. Requires Lanterns to unlock.
- 🐉 Dragon Cages: Finish the quest to release the Dragon inside! Some Dragons will be familiar to you, some other ones brand new….
- 🏚️ Ruins: Wonders that can be harvested for House parts and Lanterns. Harvesting will spend energy based on the level of the Ruin
- Lanterns (NEW): Consumable objects required for Wonder unlocking and progression. Required Lanterns will be removed when additional land is unlocked.
